Read, Give, Grow! Books to Inspire Generosity in Your Young Reader
Partnered with:
Milk + Bookies
Milk + Bookies is a nationwide charitable organization that was started 10 years ago and lives by its motto “READ! GIVE! GROW!” Our mission at Milk + Bookies is to spread the love of reading and teach kids the importance of giving back, instilling in them self-confidence, pride, and a sense of goodwill.
Milk + Bookies fosters literacy and service learning by providing the tools, resources, support, and instruction required for children and their peers of all ages to host their own Milk + Bookies parties. These parties serve as “book-raisers” where children are invited to choose, inscribe, and donate books to their local peers in need and want of appropriate reading material. Our hope is that this will set them on a path to a life of giving/ helping/sharing in ALL ways. To date, we have helped raise and donate over 163,000 books to underserved children, organizations, and schools all over the country and inspired more than 46,000 “future philanthropists”!
